Quality – always & everywhere– this is a slogan of Shymkentcement JSC, the company with 50 years history. Shymkentcement JSC was found in 1958. Production capacity of the plant is 1.3 The quality management system of Shymkentcement JSC traces its roots from 2006, when the company was awarded the quality certificate issued by the API Certification Center. At that time, the Company was the third enterprise, within the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, awarded with such certificate from the mentioned above authority. While forming the Quality Management System at Shymkentcement JSC, firstly, the analysis and management process description have been provided, and, as a result, the documents concerning the quality management system for each of the processes have been worked out. Therefore, fundamental documents of the Quality management system complying with the requirements of standards under ST RK ISO 9001-2001 have been worked out and implemented:
• quality policy;
• quality manual;
• procedure (company standards).
About four years ago, the management of Shymkentcement JSC adopted the decision on implementation of integrated management system (IMS) under standards Series ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 with the aim of improving the efficiency of the company’s operation as well as the quality of services rendered to clients.
In November, 2009, Shymkentcement JSC was given ISO 9000 Certificate for mining and re-processing operations with mineral products, cement production and sales, marketing owing to the guarantee for compliance of all processes within the company with the standards of ISO 9001:2000 (ST RK ISO 9001-2001) and ISO 14001:2004 (ST RK ISO 14001-2009). Therefore, the quality certificates issued by “AFAQ” Certification Center, the World Department of the AFNOR Group (International French Services Network for Management System Distribution) as well as “InterCert” Certification Center registered in the State Register of the Republic of Kazakhstan can guarantee high quality of products and works to consumers.
