 There was a great event in a small city. World-famous company "Italcementi" has opened the Research and Innovation Center «i.lab» in suburb of the Italian city of Bergamo. This is unique center of innovations and sustainable development, designed by the US Architect Richard Meier.In exclusive interview for our newspaper and TC "Otyrar" Mr. Pesenti has noticed that Kazakhstan is one of the large markets of Italtcementi group and we do a lot for development of manufacture of an important product - cement, with the help of new technologies Kazakhstani can get competitive production. “Now, the consumption of cement in Kazakhstan is 375 kg of cement per person. Having compared to the developed countries, this indicator is - 1000 kg per one consumer. For the next ten years it is expected that there will be increase in Kazakhstan cement consumption up to 700 kg per person. Today the capacity of our plant is 1.3 million tons of cement. The quality of cement is very important; therefore, the main task of the group and the Kazakhstan branch is to introduce innovative technologies into production. These steps have been started already, more than 50 million euro are planned to be invested into the plant modernization project” said Mr. Atilla Yildiz, Managing Director of Shymkentcement JSC

As Customer care isone of the top priorities of Shymkentcement, we would like to protect our Customers and warn them to be careful when they buy cement in the markets, as we have recently found out that some dealers in the markets of the city offer fake cement bags as original Shymkentcement product. But in fact, according to them, the bags with Shymkentcement logo were filled with the cement of other Producers.
We have already contacted the legal perspective in order to define and prevent such violations.
 Therefore we strongly recommend our Customers to purchase original high quality bag cement with 50 kg weight directly from our Bravo Build shops of “Shymkentcement” JSC. Shymkentcement based in Shymkent city of Southern Kazakhstan region, was founded in 1958. Production capacity of the plant is 1.3 Mln ton cement.
Its cement has been used for the construction of Baikonur space center, Almaty and Tashkent airports, Kashirsk and Nureksk hydroelectric stations, Karakum channels and other well known facilities in Kazakhstan and neighbor countries.
Italcementi Group is one the ten cement producers being a part of the Cement Sustainability Initiative, a project spearheaded by ten of the word’s largest cement producers. It aims to facilitate actions and accelerate progress on the move towards sustainable development. It was produced in accusation with the Geneva-based
World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD).
